Lineup of Activities
Glass Pendant Workshops
5:30-9pm
Learn the art of fusing! Working with cold, flat glass sheets and decorative elements, fusing allows you to layer glass pieces together into a design of your own. Create a 2-inch glass pendant by collaging together sheet glass, pasta-like stringers, and powdered glass. Once your design is complete it will be fired in our electric kiln to produce one solid, smooth work of art.
Pricing: $25 per person
By the Furnace: Hot Shop Experience – Ornaments
6-9pm
By the Furnace Workshops for Fireside are currently sold out. Fireside Glass Pendant Workshops are still available and other December and January By the Furnace Workshops can be found here.
Here’s your chance to work on the Hot Shop floor! Assisted by Hilltop Artists, you’ll work as the gaffer to create your very own blown glass ornament. Learn how to choose colors, block and shape the glass, and add your own twist to your work of art.
Pricing: $95 per person / $90 for MOG members
