Thank you for joining us at Breakfast at the Cone!
It was wonderful to gather with more than 225 business, civic, and community leaders attending in support of Museum of Glass’ mission to ignite creativity, fuel discovery, and enrich lives through glass and glassmaking. Your generosity is vital to the work we do here at the Museum and in the community.
We are excited to share that, together, we raised over $135k! We are almost to our goal, so if you have not yet had a chance to give, there is still time! 100% of event proceeds benefit the Museum’s programming.
We extend our sincere thanks to Honorary Event Co-Chairs Bill Robertson and Altaf Merchant for their hard work in support of the Museum. We would also like to thank our Keynote Panelists: Christina Burns, Dr. Angela Hung-Byers, and Gretchen Peri. We hope you enjoyed the lively discussion of realizing business outcomes with AI.
Thank you for your investment in the Museum's vibrant makers' spaces and creative educational programs for Tacoma and the greater Puget Sound region.
The winner of the Made at Museum of Glass art piece and future tour of the renovated galleries is Laurie L.
Be sure to check our website for upcoming community events and Hot Shop programming. We hope you will return to the Museum this fall to see our new galleries with your family and friends.
Thank you again for joining us!

Dr. Angela Hung-Byers
Sr. Director GTM, Microsoft Security
Dr. Angela Hung-Byers is a senior marketing leader with over 20 years of experience driving growth and innovation in technology and SaaS at Microsoft and McKinsey.
She spent over a decade at Microsoft in senior product and growth marketing roles, where she led marketing teams accountable for multi-billion-dollar portfolios. In the past few years, she has led the launch and adoption of AI products like Microsoft Sales Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, bringing them to life in organizations of all sizes. Currently, as a GTM leader for Microsoft Security, she thinks deeply about what it means to build trust in an AI-driven world—how organizations can protect their data estates, manage identity and access for both human and agentic employees, and stay ahead of an ever-evolving threat landscape.
But her passion doesn't stop at the office. Angela coaches emerging leaders on the side, rooted in a belief that leadership skills are learnable — and that when unlocked, they create space for both personal authenticity and lasting organizational impact. Growing up in Federal Way, Washington, she carries a deep connection to her community and finds genuine joy in guest lecturing in local colleges.
