iittala bird lovers' weekend

October 4-6, 2019

Bird Lovers’ Weekend is a favorite at the Museum. Each year, we welcome glass artists from internationally-renowned Finnish design company, Iittala. These master glassblowers create glass birds in our Hot Shop designed by the legendary Professor Oiva Toikka. The event includes a Member-only reception with our guest glassblowers, Grand Hall display, hands-on activities, musical performances, and limited-edition birds in our Store.
