Visit MOG along with other local museums every third Thursday of the month and enjoy free admission from 5-8pm.
This month we’re excited to welcome The Choppers, who will be performing in the Grand Hall from 6-8pm. The Choppers can be heard at collaborative art festivals, churches, museums, colleges, and private functions in the Seattle area. Our repertoire includes works from the 16th through the 21st centuries, including compositions by our own members. We enjoy promoting brass quintet music as both a serious and fun musical medium, and premiering new music by Northwest composers. Individual players are also in demand as soloists, teachers, clinicians, and conductors in the Puget Sound area, and have performed throughout the world in countries such as France, Australia, Japan, Germany, and Norway. Performers include: Shelly Devlin, trumpet; Tracy Hooker, trumpet; Benjamin Gessel, French horn; Barry Ehrlich, trombone; and Oleg Ruvinov, tuba.
You can also experience a Hot Shop demonstration from Hilltop Artists and craft projects with friends in our Education Studio.
