Private Events in the Grand Hall
A Grand Hall for Grand Event
The Grand Hall is an inviting 6,900 square foot entrance and primary circulation space for the Museum. From the Grand Hall program participants have direct access to the Galleries, Studio (a hands-on art activity space), Theater, Hot Shop Amphitheater and outdoor art installations. Northwest artist Cappy Thompson is featured in the Grand Hall with the piece titled: Gathering the Light, which is a mythical interpretation of a glass-making world, created in glass. Gathering the Light is symbolic of the Museum of Glass, the Hot Shop, and the art exhibited in the Museum's galleries. Program fees for the use of the Grand Hall include space for receptions and dinners with a contemporary art program, and space for dancing and musical entertainment if arranged.
