Music

Musical performances at the Museum of Glass entertain and often explore themes presented by artwork on view in the galleries. From traditional music near the holidays to experimental performance art, we love to fill the Museum with music. For instance, when the legendary Czech glass master, René Roubíček particitpated in a residency, he showed us his love for jazz by improvising on a piano in the Hot Shop.

Many times during the year, you can listen to talented local musicians performing in various spaces in the Museum. Just to name a few, we’re proud to host Riley & Maloney, Pearl Django, Lelavision, Cornish Jazz Ensemble, Radical Jazz Uprising, The Denny Foreman Group, and exceptional students from local schools. Check the Calendar to see if we have music planned during your next visit.
