Performances
Experience dance, music and theatrical performances inspired by visual art at the Museum of Glass. From ballet to break dancing, classical violin ensembles to R&B, native story telling to experimental performance art, we enjoying giving visitors a unique way to experience the art on view in our galleries.
Many weekends throughout the year, you’ll get a chance to see some of the area’s most talented performers showcasing site-specific pieces that are created as interpretations of exhibition artwork. Always crowd-pleasers, these performances encourage you to think about art in new ways and to try and see the connections between movement and art like sculptures, paintings and vessels.
Just to mention a few, we’re proud to host Fab5, The Barefoot Studios and Dance Theatre NW.
Check the Calendar to see if we have music planned during your next visit.
