Reports to: Visitor Services Supervisor
Status: Part-time
Description
Visitor Services Representatives are responsible for greeting visitors, selling Museum of Glass memberships and general admission tickets; and ensuring all visitors have a positive overall Museum experience.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ticket sales for all Museum events and venues.
- Offer to sell or renew Museum Membership at the beginning of every appropriate transaction.
- Accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
- Provide welcome and orientation to all visitors.
- Creative problem solving and resolution of visitor issues.
- Provide information on Museum exhibits and activities to enhance the visitor experience.
- Provide advancement department administrative support, as needed. Additional duties as assigned in support of the mission of the Museum.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience: High school graduation preferred. Experience in customer service and cash handling required. Sense of humor is a must!

- Strong communication skills; verbal and written fluency in English
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as a team player
Special Requirements
Visitor Services Representatives will be required to work weekends, holidays and some evenings. Must be able to stand for extended periods.
