Science of Art Units

Students learning about optics [Photo: Justin Kuravackal]

Science of Art encourages students to identify the intersection between scientific experimentation and the creative process, and addresses how scientists and artists think alike. We offer this program to selected schools in the consortium for six weeks during the academic year. A Museum of Glass art educator teaches a lesson in the classroom prior to the Museum visit. The Science of Art program presents an informative, exciting curriculum meeting EALRs and GLEs to enhance student learning opportunities.
