About the Author

Ed Schmid is the voice of almost all the content in “Learn about Glass.” He has been working with hot glass (more or less) since 1984. He received his MFA. from the Ohio State University in 1990. He wrote Ed’s Big Handbook of Glassblowing in 1993 as a precursor to Advanced Glassblowing Techniques which was published in 1997. You can keep up with Ed by visiting his website at glassmtn.com
